It's CHRISTMAS....cards and wrapping

Hope I'm posting this in the right place - am very new here.

Have been into 3 different post offices around where I live (Glasgow) in the last week and all of them have Christmas cards and Christmas wrapping on special offer.

I have an elderly family member in manchester so I asked the sales assistant if this was a nationwide thing, she said she wasn't sure, but that she thought so as they are trying to get rid of thier old stock for this year.

THe wrapping was quite good quality in all the shops and cost 99p a roll, £1.49 for two.

The cards were also nice and in each shop the deal seemed to be £5 for two larg-ing boxes (the number of cards in them varied 10-20 depending on the style) . OR smaller packs of 6-8 cards at 99p each.

I usually draw the line at buying cars etc. in the January sles cos by them I'm sick of the whole festival. This doesn't seem too far ahead though - 8 weeks to go...arg!

My apologies if this is in the wrong place or if it's not a nationwide thing.
