it can be done

hello,

i am new here, but have been reading other peoples thread for the last few months....

i have been on a debt repayment program for the last 8 years through gregory pennington (i know you pay but it was my best option)....
i have now 4 more payments to make and will become debt free....

with some of the posts and qrys i would like to put my own knowledge thorugh

1, i have managed to get a mortage
2, i have managed to get a bank account (full)
3, i have or rather had 6 ccj's to my name

the point i am making there is hope, when i started my ex left me with massive debts (25k), but after a long haul its nearly finished...

i know in the beginning its a nightmare with letters and phone calls, its not the letters that i minded so much its the constant phone calls from dawn to dusk....

i think you need to be a different breed (sub human) to hassle your fellow man for money

remember being in debt is not a crime, it normally happens due to a lifestyle change...

i i have learnt one thing over the last 8 years, is look after yourself as well as your family.

an as for the people who look down at us debtors, you could be just a summons or job loss away for this....
