Argos reserved items?

Any idea when something is reserved and then it runs out (eg something reserved until today) when they show on the Argos stock system as being available again??

depends sometimes just after store closing, others up to a hour later,

when the store closes they will shut down and back up their computer system, so it's usually at least an hour after that process completes, although it used to be about 4-6 hours later at the store where I used to work.

in short, keep trying - it's all you can do

If you reserve something, but can't make it you can phone them and they will extend it for you.

It's always been after midnight for me, if an item was reserved until the end of Tuesday and it was the last one then at 00:01 on Wednesday it has been available to reserve again.

I've done this a few times when I can't get to an Argos in time to pick it up and have had my reservation span over a week before now!
