Electric toothbrush

I always recommend Oral-B to my patients. The osscilating/pulsating action is far superior to the sonic action of the Phillips, in the sense that you still require a good brushing technique to maximise it's effectiveness (much like brushing with a manual).
Oh, and Oral-B toothbrushes also make bubbles and waves in a glass of water, much like the phillips
The oral B's however are more forgiving with your brushing technique, and you only have to hold the head over the tooth/gum line.
If you know how to use a manual toothbrush properly and floss, you will have no need for an electric toothbrush. But obviously having an electric will allow you to brush more effectively within a given time.Try to imagine nothing ever existed...0
