We found on eBay theas work out quite cheap compared to supermarkets if you brought in bulk also seem to have different flavours not sure why they aren't sold in shops?! That amazon link above though is fab, thanks for posing never thought to look on there!

Am reading with interest. My birthday on 2 weeks and so we ordered one from amazon for £65 and it has arrived. I'd like opinions on what ot spend my £20 on at Tassimo plse. Also I dont understand the milk business. Am I right in saying that some packs selling 16 pods are actually only 8 drinks and that 8 pods have coffee and 8 have milk? How many more are like that? the boden milk frother looks interesting but will wait for the moment. Thanks

Hi, I use my tassimo daily and drink only the 'Cafe Crema' pods, these are 16 in a pack and whilst not as good as real fresh ground coffee they are streets ahead of instant etc

the ones which make 8 cups (with 16 pods), are things like the cappuccino, macchiato, milka hot choc.

You can get 16 cups (from 16 pods) with the cafe crema, carte noire petit dejuner, kenco medium roast, kenco columbian, suchard hot choc (and probably others too, but have only tried the above).

I have only had my machine a couple of weeks - I like the columbian, cafe crema and carte noire best so far (have not tried the choc yet). The Starbucks is nice too, but the pods make a smaller cup than the others.

    Evening all,
Just in case anyone is looking for a tassimo machine, I've just bought one from Robert Dyas for £50, use the code newyear15 and go through Quidco to get the maximum benefit.
Thanks to others who posted on this thread, I've also bought the Suchard Hot Choc from Amazon.
Credit card is getting a battering but I've wanted a machine for ages.
