How early should you start looking at new mortgage deals?

I am finishing my 3 year fixed rate in October 2011 and wanted to know when I should start looking at new deals?
MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different

Whats the followon rate? you might not need to look hard if it is a good rate.
Most deals are valid for upto 6months so thats about the earliest.
if changing lender deals can take a while so 3months is around the latest.
Some lenders switching can be almost instant(days).0 -
Im not sure will it not just be the svr which atm is 3.5%. Don't think that I will get any great deals though tbh as I have a large ltv of 90%.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

I work with mortgage offers on a daily basis and the longest they're valid for is 3 months. They vary rarely get extended.
The 3 months is from the date they're formally offered though and that can take a while.0 -
