woolworths currently have 25% off board games, lego, selected barbie, dora, bob the builder,my little pony,k'nex etc valid till nov 26th I think.
This is a bargain if you combine it with the 10% off code see hotukdeals or voucher board. Also works off sale items.
There is also a fiver off if you spend £50 code. This also works whatever your card.
Add this to 3 for 2 on other items and some very good xmas shopping to be had!
Codes can only be used once per account but if you use an alternate email you can same up the same address again and card.
Dont forget free instore collection at checkout.
And of course go through quidco for an extra 5%
I'm all shopped out :-)0 -

Are Woollies doing an 'Argos' and creating a sale full of items that are "Not Currently Available". All four of the Lego Star Wars construction sets that would have been ideal for my little boy are like this. What a waste of time.0

I have had the same issue on the Spiderman and Friends toys and Marvel Figures. Hardly anything in the sale is available0

I read yesterday on some US Money website, that there will be a shortage of Lego toys this year. Lego are cutting a lot of jobs and this has affected production.kranti wrote:I have had the same issue on the Spiderman and Friends toys and Marvel Figures. Hardly anything in the sale is available
To be fair, the Spider-man and Friends range has always been pretty scarce. I have been getting these for my boy for a year now and stocks are always pretty low.
Got Green Goblin yesterday in store! I've been looking for Iceman for a year...
EDIT: For the record, I'm not defending Woolies here. I think the stores are generally rubbish!0 -

I've been collecting them for my son too. Can't find Doc Ock, Beast, Captain America or Iceman. Have found the others after trawling through many Woolies and Toyrus. They've never been on the website before. Shame that they have added them to the site, and at an offer price, and none are available.
The marvel figures are readily available though. Not sure why they don't appear to have stock of these0 -

Is it possible to order online and to collect in store to avoid the delivery charge?0 -
Toys R US have loads of Star Wars lego sets and will price match Woolys - akthough they do have their own offer on that we felt was more beneficial. Spend £50 star Wars get a ltd edition tin with 4 figures - they normally retail at about £6 each so a good buy - if your kids are as daft on Star Wars as ours!!No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:
