Are you saying you don't have isofix in your car?

If you don't have it then your seatbelt will hold any of the 3 bases available as the actual seat will sit into the base so the seatbelt length is not an issue.

If you don't have isofix in the car, then usually the version with isofix option is more expensive so not worth paying the extra for as it won't be used. Does this help? x

I will check my car and manual tomorrow for sure. I have a Ford Focus C-Max and from what I've read online the presence of Isofix is a bit hit and miss and I may need to have retrospective installation.

So right now I'm not sure if I have Isofix or not!! So maybe I need a base that is just secured by the seatbelt? I don't want to have to pay extra for something that I don't need - but likewise I want it to be as safe as possible.
