    Wow, thanks so much OP.

I have been looking online for this exact car seat to find the best price! The cheapest I could find was the pink one on the Boots website for £65 but that has sold out!

I have placed my order :)

Just need to find a good deal on the base now!
  • Sammy the Easyfix base is on special offer at Amazon for £57.50 which is half the usual price too :)

Thanks Shazza - I must admit the bases are confusing me - there are a few different ones. What is the difference, do you know? x

The EasyFix and FamilyFix bases are both ISOfix bases (http://www.britax.co.uk/safety-centre/what-is-isofix) whereas an EasyBase is just installed using your car's seat belt HTH

No idea if this helps, but our car is pre-isofix (i think any car after 2001 is isofix? - anyway confirm?!) so i need to be able to use the seatbelt to attach the car seat, easyfix (which is currently 50% off) does both isofix and seatbelt attachment. The Easybase2 does NOT work with isofix at all - which if you have a newer car is a bit useless. Does that make any sense?

Amazon also have the Maxi-Cosi Mila pushchair (black colourway only) which the Cabriofix attaches to for £107.90 (£200 in Boots & Mothercare)

I've taken the risk and ordered all three items without going looking at them in a real shop !
  • Sammy it depend if you want one that has the Isofix fitting. The Easyfix does both Isofix and non Isofix (using the seat belt) the Easybase 2 does not work with Isofix as Dazzle says.

I don't think the Cabriofix seat fits in the Familyfix base it is the Pebble and Pearl seats which can be used with that one.

Ok, thanks for the advice on the bases. I am still a little confused. I'm sorry, it's late, I'm tired and I've eaten too much so have mush for a brain at present.

This car seat will not fit into my car without an isofix base, the seat belts aren't long enough to hold the seat. So therefore I need to be looking at the Easyfix base only? Is that correct?!

    Thanks so much :)

Not all cars after 2001 have isofix, there are still quite a few that don't some mercedes for an example don't have it as standard on some models, you have to buy a kit and have it fitted.

Easybase (early model) seatbelt use for cabriofix seat

Easybase 2 (newer model) seatbelt use for cabriofix seat and the new pebble seat.

Easyfix for cars with isofix (or seatbelt use)
