Urgh, I ended up coming down with some bug that's been going round  only really starting to feel a bit better today, just in time for free listing, yeay!

In good news and in keeping with what I'm trying to attempt at a positive outlook on life, is that I've got my own car and it's all road legal  I'm SO glad as it means I can escape when things get tough, and they are today so I'm going to nip to the shops and pick up some cheer me up bits & pieces. Also means I'm seriously close to the bone money-wise this week as I've had the downpayment for Insurance (£50 cashback thankyouverymuch) the mot, and 6 months road-tax coming out all in the last week!

All the minimums are paid so I'm going to have to live with that for this month and improve next month, but it means I can tick one thing of my list, yeay!

*eta, also being ill has helped me lose 4lbs in less than a week, haha! Though it'll all probably go back on just as quick it was nice to see the scales there if even just for a little while.

    Hope everyone's well.

I spoke too soon on Saturday, felt a tad bleurgh so went to bed and spent most of yesterday in bed too :o so no new bits on ebay at all.

Had to open THREE npb resolutions today, at least when they're either paid up or not I can get the stuff into the bundles I'm working on and get shot of all the clothes once and forall! It's not even my own clothes I'm selling and they're still taking up my work-table space, though the top of my wardrobe's pretty clear now :rotfl:

I'm worried that I'm not going to get paid on Friday. The company are known for messing people about, luckily I've been fine so far but our contracts got re-done this month and the new boss has been nothing but an idiot with me so it won't surprise me in the slightest, eek!

I've also not met my £750 target, boo. I've made a pretty darn good attempt at it though and am rather pleased with what I've got as it's more than I would've had if I wasn't going for it. It's spurred me on to keep up with wee mini month long challenges to keep the pennies rolling in as that's the way this debt is going to start properly coming down!

One of these days I'll actually write down a proper budget that I'd be able to show the world :o How do people write decent budgets up when they don't know what money is coming in? I'm working mine out at the moment based on my paye earnings, even though I know I'll be earning more than that, but anyhoos.

My mini target is to make £500 this month via ebay sales, job3, cashback, b!ngo, surveys etc etc Which is roughly £100 per week. If I push myself hard enough this should be easily achieveable, instead of procrastinating and faffing about on the internets!

And with that in mind the tasks for the rest of today are:

*wrap up sales ready for posting tomorrow morning
*list ten new items on ebay
*sort clothes into bundles for selling as job-lots

Evening! I've been busy working away at job3 the past few days. Hopefully I'll now start seeing something from all the work I've been putting in (and will be putting in over the next month) and my mini challenge total will be bumped up nicely *fingers crossed*

One of my npb's paid up, not a peep from the other two. Once they're sorted with I'm going to whack on the job lots I think, most likely this weekend at somepoint. I also found a few other bits and pieces while rooting around in the shed loft, a couple of higher valued bits that I'd forgotten all about, so I need to get them down, photographed and listed.

I'm feeling really positive the last week-or-so, had a bit of a meltdown last week and ended up bawling away at work. It's a good job I'm the only one there at the time or it would've been embarrasing :o

Loving being on the road again, it's great just being able to jump in the car and head up to the Post Office whenever I want instead of having to jiggle masses of parcels and my work around when people are heading to town.

Apart from that I have no news really!

Payday today :) Feeling really positive on the money front today, even though I'm no closer to being debt free.

It's a nice feeling knowing that I'm not going to be hemorrhaging money on fixing up a car over the next while and I can start making inroads into the debt again.

As it stands my fixed monthly outgoings are just:

£465 on minimum repayments to my debts
    £25 mobile phone
    £29 car insurance

Thanks to still living at home and having VERY understanding parents re debt :o (even though they drive me potty quite often)

Variables will be fuel, once I figure out how much I'm using I'll be able to guage this properly so we'll see next month what that brings. I also need to work out a fixed amount of spending for myself. I'm going to go back to the taking £20 out on a Friday and making it last the week (or longer if I can) as it worked well for me before, if I'm very clever I might even be able to take my fuel costs out of that!

So I really need to keep focused with the moneymaking and third job so I can start attacking properly. Also need to keep my eye on jobs to see if anything full time that comes up takes my fancy as that would be a massive help and huge weight off my shoulders!

Wish my sister would hurry up and get home, I'm making dinner for just the two of us tonight as we're the only ones in and I'm blooming starving :rotfl:

I had a very, very lazy weekend and feel really guilty now as a result :o

So plans for the rest of today are to wrap up all stuff to be posted and get ten new items onto ebay.

Thanks to getting the car all fixed up I know my debt's gone up over the last month not down, which is no use at all. So I really need to shift myself into gear with the listing & making extra cash front!

Hello! Long time no see :o

I've been popping on for a few minutes but never seem to have the time to write up a diary entry!

My time is now fully packed with salary paying jobs :jplus whenever I get a free minute anything extra I can manage to fit in, which over the last week & a bit hasn't been much. Due to that and the changover in paydays means as it stands right now I'm just over £100 short for paying up the rest of my bills at the end/start of the month so the mission is on this weekend to get as much potential moneymaking done as possible!

Basically it's going to mean a weekend of ebaying as much as is possible, along with a few other little bits and pieces which will hopefully make a dent into the shortfall!

I'm so looking forward to payday now and to seeing the debt total finally start to come down properly - and stay down!

    Hope everyone's well.

    Hello diaryland!

Nearly two months since I posted last :o I've been flat out busy with work of all kinds and not much of a dent in the debt to show for it really! So I'm back here, back on the debt-busting wagon and raring to go.

As it stands right now I'm wanting to pay a minimum of £500 a month off the cards, anymore and I'll be a very happy bunny! Work is so busy at the moment that I don't know if I'll be able to do any real extra moneymaking, I've just claimed over £50 cashback which should hit my account sometime over the next few days but apart from that I'm not sure what else will be happening.

One area I want to tackle though is to stop the little spends that I've been making, the odd bottle of juice here, sandwich there when I forget my lunch etc etc. So, I've got a tenner of "spends" for the rest of this week then I'm going back to taking £20 out on a Friday to do me for the week, not including my petrol spends. I also need to work out what mileage I'm getting from the car for my own benefit, and might encourage me back on the pushbike!

    Hope everyone is well :)

Hello hello diaryland (and anyone that bothers reading lol)

MSE my bank balance has missed you so :D

I'm going to resurrect my diary to get me back on the debtbusting wagon. Work is super busy which has meant a general ignorance of the money situation. I'm STILL in aroundabout the same amount of debt, mainly thanks to me taking a weeks holiday, albeit in the UK but still the cost adds up!

Things might be changing a bit with my income too, for the better, but I won't find out for definite for a few weeks. And there's the burning desire to move out of the parents.

SO it's all go. Back to listing on fleabay, back to working the 2nd job, to taking in my lunch to work instead of buying it everyday (forgot how expensive that is!) back to budgetting and controlling what's coming in so much more so that a move out WILL be possible :)

I'll be back later on or possibly tomorrow with facts & figures after I do some proper number crunching.
