I know i'm being a pain but cant find the thread for this so.....which shops accept vouchers even though you are not buying that particular item???please...

Don't worry about asking! You're certainly not being a pain.

To my knowledge, it is Tesco, Asda and Waitrose.

Thank you for your email.

Any coupons, which display the Tesco logo, are Tesco specific. We only accept these if the products referred to on the coupons are purchased. This is because we negotiate savings with our suppliers on the condition that these actual products will be purchased.

With regard to coupons from brand name manufacturers, we are happy to accept one, even if you have not purchased the product. However, the coupon must be in date and Tesco must sell the item. If you present more than one identical coupon, then you must purchase the same number of products.

This also applies to coupons printed from the Internet. However, these will only be accepted at the discretion of the Store Manager.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to explain our policy.

£2.00 of masterfoods
£1.75 of ecover
£4 of findus

good result for about 10 mins of emailing! lol

How did you manage to get these:-

When I asked they said no :-( Not had a reply back from Findus or YeoValley yet though I have got the others.

I went on the sunsilk website and asked for more info and any samples.

for the masterfoods one i emailed them from here. taken off the first bit.

neither yeovally or findus emailed me to say anything was in the post but i got them within a few days so dont wory too much about them.

Since reading this thread I have given both this a go and asking for samples. Done quite well. £4 off mop, £1.75 off ecover, £1 off king of shaves, and more. Doing fairly well as I am quite new to all this ms. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
