I was hoping to have a mini party before we knew they was coming my daugther wanted a posh dinner party theme and seen as I have her dress already I'd like to keep the theme.
what I would like for you lovely people is any ideas of anything related to the theme and ideas for games and food and anything else you can think of
thanks

We often have friend and kids at ours, or theirs for NYE. We tend to do buffet food so can't give you any ideas for a dinner party. The kids just play with their xmas toys. Did you intend letting them stay up and see new Year in? We have in the past put the clocks forward let off some fireworks and wished them Happy New Year before sending them to bed.:o;):D Not sure it would work nowadays, the are [STRIKE]crafty[/STRIKE] old enough to check the time against the tv/pc.0

I made them a 3 course meal on a posh table with candles an d grape juice as wine they wore there pretty dresses and my son had a shirt and tie (hes 2 and looked so cute)
then we played games like gift grab and we planned on just dance
then at midnight we had a small box of fireworks which was funny cause they was rubbish and a box of sparklers they loved it.
