As the title says, welcome to this forum.
The new year often brings the realisation of financial troubles and is often a time when people come looking for help. As the stats bare out, this board often has a number of "viewers" who are looking for information, but find it hard to commit themselves to making a post.
Therefore this is an open invitation for those struggling to press the button and ask for the help needed. Click here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...lay.html?f=136 and press the "New Thread" button on the left hand side.
If you do not feel that you can do this and dont want to post publicly then feel free to send me a private message and i will do what i can to help. Just click on my name and press the private message button

Bumping this for you debtinfo as the welcome was invaluable last New Year too.
You've been a grounded helpful person all through my journey here. A fountain of knowledge and only too willing to help. I've had a few panicky moments through my journey and you've calmly helped me to put things in perspective. Your dememour and presence on this board is needed and appreciated to those who just keep on coming back.
