I think that's because they have sold out.
Maybe worth a look instore (even if they are marked up as more money, they should still scan at £1), or try Asda

Sainsburys has exchausted its stock of £1 annuals. There are no more. So that's why the link doesn't lead to anything.

Asda has exhausted its limited stock of annuals at £1. Cheapest price is now £3 (though this link leads to a page saying 'from £4.50p').

    * Meant to add: the annuals mention was followed by the HMV mention (boxed sets). But the caveat about shopping around, also included in those mentions, is worth following.

We've been meaning to buy the boxed set of 'John Adams' for ages as it was the best thing on TV for many a year. HMV has slashed the price in its sale from £39.99 to £16.49 -- a big saving.

It looked good until a routine check with Amazon showed its regular, non-sale price for this same boxed set is £12.97.

HMV was in the news today about falling sales. No wonder: can't it even be bothered to check Amazon's onlihne pricing, the same as any other sensible customer would?
