Cheap Long (and thick!) curtains

Hi all,
I'm looking to buy some long curtains (about 8 foot drop) and need them as cheap as possible (to help keep the heat in through some old huge sash windows).
I can't make them myself, and my budget is not fixed, I just need to keep it as cheap as possible, either lined, or buying a lining separately.
At this point in time I don't care what the look like I just need to keep the heat in and the cold out!!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated - I'm guessing Dunelm Mill or Ikea may be good starter points? They're both local to me, but I thought I'd post before I venture out to the shops in case I was missing a better option.
Thanks,
Tom (and the rest of the family over at xmas thank you too!)

Ikea curtains are long enough and very cheap BUT most of them are thin, so attaching an extra layer to them would probably be the cheapest option. The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.0

Buy the cheap Ikea curtains, buy some blankets from a charity shop and line them with the blanket .... works really well and is cheap
2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -
Thanks so much for your replies!
I'm definitely heading to ikea, just realised most of their curtains are tabbed not pinch pleat, but I think it works our cheaper to put up new rails (maybe the double ones) and get the cheaper curtains up, maybe doubled up, than buying the pleat curtains as we used to.0
