Hiya everyone,
Hope you can make sense of this!
My 0% has ran out on my Abbey credit card and I have been unable to get another 0%. I have 0% on HSBC card until next year.
I have an outstanding balance of £1500 on Abbey card and £289 available credit on HSBC card. I was thinking of transferring £200 from Abbey to HSBC. The fee would be £5 but not sure if this is best thing to do. Is it cheaper to pay the APR instead? APR on Abbey is now 15.9%
Sorry if I'm being really dumb but I don't know where to start with working these things out!!
Many thanks

When next year does the 0% finish on HSBC?
Could you ask them to increase the credit limit?0 -
what does 'until next year ' mean?
what will the APR be on the HSBC card be when the 0% runs out.
now much are you able to pay on each card per month0 -
0% ends in April and then goes to 15.9 also.
I could ask them to increase the credit limit but can't see that they would as I've only been with them for 2 months.
I can pay £75 for the two cards each month.0 -
If you leave the £200 on a 15.9% card you will pay about £14 in interest on that £200 from nov to april. So it does save you a small amount in interest.0

Ring Abbey and ask if they can do you a dea or extend your 0%.. They're under MBNA (i think) and they are desperate to keep 'customers'0
