But I was intending on giving give it as a birthday gift in March, and some people here have states that it may only have a shelf life of 3 months.. I hope it lasts till then. If not, then I'll just have to make use of it now.
Hi
I received both the Sweetheart & Mistletoe today and underneath both boxes they have a 6 month period after opening symbol on them0 -
My order arrived today - 2x Sweetheart, 2x Mistletoe and 1 Bath Rocks. They really are lovely and are much bigger than I expected.0

I am a Lush fan and have LOADS of ballistics..... i am still using some that i had last Christmas (2009, not the one just gone lol) - so what is supposed to have happened to me LOL...? My skin hasn't fallen off yet (touchwood) and they still smell "lush" (yes, after a year! Kept in the box they came in though...)
So i reckon these would be FINE..... i shall be giving the sweetheart one i have had today to my niece for her birthday which is in May.
I am also using ballistics that I had in the grab bags at the beginning of last year nearly 12 months old now stored in an air tight container and although they still smell nice the big blue ones have now got white patches on them and they have lost their fizz, still useing them though :rotfl:0 -
nothing bad will happen to you - I've still got Lush stuff that I'm using up after a couple of years. The look of the product does deteriorate though and performance isn't always as good as it should be. Some of the Lush soaps warp a bit as the oils and water content dry out.
Some people like to keep their products in air tight containers to preserve the scent and freshness but I suppose that wouldn't be easy if you are keeping them in the boxes to give as gifts.
The reason for the shorter shelf life on fresh products like Lush is also because they contain little to no preservatives compared to some other brands.0 -

I heard that wrapping your Lush soap in cling film helps preserve them :j0 -

More likely, Amazon will put the price up when their system sees a run on a product!¿Alguien ha visto a mi nave espacial?
