  • I'd love a leopard bayswater but even in the sale it's too rich for my blood :(

The outlet sale will be on soon as well if anyone can get to Cheshire Oaks or Bicester. I've bought current season there before at a whopping discount. I do use it almost every day so that's how I justified it to the OH. I don't think he get's it though.

The Factory shop in Somertset is even cheaper than Bicester:money:

My sister has one of those. I don't like it as much as the others, it looks a bit plasticky in my opinion.

I would never buy a designer bag - I like them, but I am very fickle and I would get bored with it after a year or two.

I sometimes think that too geri1965, but I would try to choose something that I would never get bored of. It would have to be brown leather. I love the Bayswater and the Alexa and several others from other designers... just need to justify the cost! If it lasted me forever, it would be a good buy.

I was so gutted on Christmas Eve...got the email about 5pm (we were visiting my hubby's gran until then)...thought I would have a look as have been lusting after the oversized Alexa in grape for months but just could not pull the trigger...went onto the site...found the bag...almost fell off my chair when I saw the price...until I saw the dreaded words 'sold out'. :(

Thinking about phoning around the London stores tomorrow to see if anyone has one...but not sure if it's even worth trying? If I knew I had a real shot at one I would go in early tomorrow and queue (if there will be queues? I have no idea...)...but I am not a shopper at heart, and cannot bear the thought of going in unless I'm reasonably sure to be successful. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
  • Main page here , just ordered an Alexa as my xmas present from my lovely hubby:D

oh you are so lucky :) :j

Definately worth phoning at least, the instore sale doesn't start til tomorrow so they should have some stock. They may be nice and put one aside for you til the end of the day?
