Sick days...

Hiya,
Just wondering if anyone had any insight into this -
I started a new job in June working on a bar and have had a really unlucky run of ill health since, despite not being off once in the 2 years I'd been working prior to that. I had one day off because of an injury at work (slipped & hurt my back) and then three days off for a throat infection. I've now gone down with flu and am on my third day of ringing in sick again. My boss 'had a word' about how much I'd been off after my last illness so I'm really worried about what he's going to say this time when I go back - is it something he could sack me over? I signed a temporary contract when I started which I was told was just for the first 3 months, but haven't signed anything since, which I'm now feeling a bit of a divvy over - does he still need cause to give me the push?
Any insight greatly appreciated!

unfortunately he doesn't as you have not worked there more than one year.
The only thing I can suggest is phone in every day to let them know how you are and get back asap. The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
