bank of scotland/ NFU / apex

I am in year 6 of a 15 year DMP and have had a letter today from the NFU/Bank of Scotland stating

" We note you are continuing to make payments in reduction of the balance outstanding under your agreement with NFU Mutual Finance Ltd.

We write to advise you that there has been a review of this business and it has been decided that the outstanding balance under your agreemement is to be written off and the agreement closed. (OMG :j:j:j)

As a result you will no longer be required to make any further payments under this agreement and you should arrange for any current method of payment to be stopped with immediate effect."

Now before i crack open the champagne as there is about 6k outstanding I currently make payments to Apex Credit Management for this agreement and dont want to celebrate if it means I still have to pay Apex - are they the Debt collecion arm of BOS - obviously BOS know i am still paying and of course all the offices are closed so i can't speak to anyone in an office

So do you think this is real ???? I dont want to celebrate and then find its wrong.

Thanks in advance
Been stupid but have no regrets starting to slowly sort my finances now the kids are growing
