Mhm, see what you mean, HamEggs.
The tip about buying the warranty to get a better discount or as a haggling tool, then cancelling the warranty after in the permitted period, was new to me, though.
Worth a thought. No harm glancing the through the article, not everyone is as savvy as HamEggs and moi!

Footfall figures show retail sector in state of collapse http://www.synovate....ailperformance/

There was a 22.8% fall in shopper numbers nationally, compared with Boxing Day 2009

    Over 27% fall in S W England.

Whats the point of buying crap...which is mostly whats out there....
I refer to my byline below ...

    Ad hominem
An attack upon an opponent in order to discredit their arguement or opinion. Ad hominems are used by immature and/or unintelligent people because they are unable to counter their opponent using logic and intelligence.

Hmm... South West England... that would be where all the SNOW was, no?

Doesn't mean the retail sector is fooked, only that it's had a bad few days because all its' potential customers are waiting until they can actually get to the store without slipping on their bums.
