Terms and Conditions
Competitions- No purchase necessary.
- One entry per person, no bulk or third party entries.
- Postal entries for competitions should be sent with your name, address, daytime telephone number, competition you are entering and answer to: Time Out Offers, Universal House, 251 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 7AB.
- Email entries for competitions should be sent to [EMAIL="competitions@timeout.com"]competitions@timeout.com[/EMAIL] clearly stating in the subject header the competition you are entering.
- Competitions are open to all UK residents (over the age of 18 in alcohol, tobacco or travel-related competitions, or in other cases as stated) except employees of Time Out, the companies or organisations with whom the competition or offer is being run, their agents or anyone directly connected with the promotion.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in the post or offered for delivery insufficiently stamped. Proof of delivery will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
- Prizes are as stated only and no cash alternatives will be given. However the promoter has the full and free right to alter arrangements or prizes should circumstances change.
- The winning answers and the names of prizewinners will be made available to those who send an SAE to the competition entry address. The decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- All entries and copyright in them automatically become the property of Time Out.
- All entrants to competitions and offers are deemed to have accepted these rules and agreed to be bound by them and agree to co-operate in any publicity that may arise.

Additional terms and conditions for 'Win a trip for two to Tokyo' competition
1. No purchase necessary to enter the prize draw.
2. This prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter and prize sponsors, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion.
3. Entries must be received by midnight on 11 March 2011. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
4. Only one entry per person. No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted. Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned. No entrant may win more than one prize.
5. To enter fill in your details on the online form found at https://www.timeout.com/london/air-france/competition.
6. All correctly completed entries will be entered into a prize draw which will take place on 16 March 2011. The first entry drawn will be the winner of the prize a trip for two to Japan with Air France and Conrad Tokyo. The holiday is subject to availability and Air France and Conrad Tokyo’s standard terms and booking conditions, please see their websites for details. The holiday prize includes return Air France Economy class tickets from any UK airport via Paris Charles de Gaulle to Tokyo for two and 5 nights accommodation at the Conrad Tokyo, including breakfast. Air France will pay the applicable airport taxes. The prize does not include: transfers, spending money, personal expenses, travel and health insurance, gratuities, additional accommodation expenses such as telephone calls, upgrades and incidentals. All such expenses on receipt and use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner and their chosen companion. The winner and their chosen companion must be 18 years or over and must travel together. Once the trip is booked and confirmed, any amends to the booking will be at the winners cost. The winner and their chosen companion may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize. The prize must be taken before 19 December 2011. Travel dates are subject to availability of prize winner booking class. The winner and companion must travel on the same dates/routing for the whole journey. There is no monetary value to this prize and it cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative holiday. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost notices, acceptances, tickets or other documents related to the prize.
7. Once the grand prize winner of a trip for two to Tokyo is drawn, entries will then be drawn to win runner-up prizes of twenty 640ml bottles of Sho Chiku Bai sake. The sake bottles will be posted to the winners by 15 April 2011.
8. The prize is strictly non-transferable. Once booked flight tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable. The prize is not redeemable for cash nor exchange. The prize is subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize of equivalent or greater value.
9. The winner will be notified via email or post by 18 March 2011. The winner must claim their prize within 14 working days of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules. The Promoter will not be responsible for any inability of the prize winner to take up the specified prize.
10. To obtain details of the winner please email press@jnto.co.uk stating “Time Out Japan Air France prize draw” in the subject heading four weeks after the closing date.
11. The Promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the prize draw, unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering this prize draw, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
12. The winner agrees to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their name and photograph in such publicity.
13. By entering the prize draw each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
14. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
