BHS Christmas cards reduced to £1!!

WOW! Quick update on card order..............arrived this morning!! 18 boxes of beautiful cards.

These were ordered yesterday at 11 am so less than a 24 hr turnaround from order to delivery.

Have to say "BHS- I'm really, really impressed"

Wow! Did they come by courier or royal mail? And did you get a dispatch email?

I got my confirmation email but no dispatch email, and assumed I wouldn't get one for awhile. Now that I think of it, I ordered delivered to store and the one other time I did that they never sent an email saying it had arrived at store and when I called to check on it, the lady had to check twice and took a long time before finding it. Now I wish I'd just ordered a few more things and got the free shipping, lol.

Had my money taken by Paypal but no confirmation email from BHS at all. Have emailed them but they are 'toobusy' to give answer - if wrong all the cards will be gone by the time I get an answer.

They came via HOME Network courier.........I feel a bit bad because I slated Home Network for not delivering in the snow in a post yesterday!:o
I did receive a dispatch/left the warehouse email from BHS at 18.44 last night.
I've never had anything from BHS delivered to store so don't know if they send out an email...........if they're anything like Boots, emails regarding instore arrivals are a bit hit and miss!

I received email this morning saying they've been despached but not really expecting the cards to arrive any time soon. That's ok though don't need them for 11.5 months!

I'm in no rush either, I just want to make sure I actually get them because if a couple of weeks from now it turns out there has been a screw-up with the order, all the cheap cards will be sold out.

My order online still just says "submitted". Wish it would let me go back and alter it, I'd add a few more things and get the free delivery rather than shipping to store.

Not sure if this is of any help to anyone - I placed one order at 13:30 yesterday afternoon and another at around 15:00. I recived a despatch e-mail with the HDNL traking number at 22:00 for the first order; however I've not yet received the despatch e-mail for the second order. Both orders were for cards and wrap only.

How long after you got your dispatch email did they arrive at the store? In the past BHS never called me at all and had difficultly locating the package; I'm wondering if it really takes the 7 days to get to the store?
