It would have to be for £63! Will it make me a cup of tea and tidy the bathroom whilst it cleans my teeth?

I bought the deluxe 9500 from amazon with some vouchers I got from a cashback site, think it cost £95 or so. It's also half price at boots at the moment (£82.50 ish I think from £165) It is a fantastic toothbrush, the best I've had.
I used to have an ultrasonex one, but the brush head made me gag when I tried to clean my back teeth, plus the rubberised part went mouldy and was impossible to get off (kept in the bathroom all the time).
The guarantee on the oral b one I have is very good. It has a "normal" 2 year guarantee, plus it has a no quibble money back guarrantee if you decide you dont like the toothbrush in the first 2 years of use. (must not have been misused in this time for the guarantee to be valid)

If you compare it to dental bills it's not so bad and with the money back guarantee you could use it for 2 years then get your money back. Seems a good buy to me.

For £69.99 I would want angels to kiss my teeth clean.

From a quick look around on the web it seems as though it comes with a 2yr warranty and the money back satifaction guarantee is only for the first 30 days - however I could be wrong!

Can anyone shed some more light on the satisfaction guarantee - ie. what you have to do to get your money back?

I think it's 30 days for the US.

I'll quote it word for word from the booklet included in the box.

  • Are they as good as the sonicare?

  • I don't know much about this toothbrush...but I would thoroughly recommend an Oral-B sonic complete or similar. You can pick these up on Ebay at circa £50. Often you find the guys selling them are dentists making a bit on the side.

I have tried a few different leccy toothbrushes....but would never settle for anything less than sonic from now on. Never known a squeaky-clean-teeth-feel like it. The feel of the sonic is weird at first..but you soon get used to it.

    :D <-- the proof!
