Afternoon all

I had a couple more surveys this afternoon but nothing outstanding. I went up town to meet my friend and we popped in one of the charity shops for a look round and I found a nice Jasper Conran shirt for OH for £4, looks brand new still so thats an extra present for him.

Off to check C and do some rating. Elysia, thanks for pushing me last month, you were not at all bossy lol, I wouldnt have been able to claim that extra tenner if it hadnt been for you and then the others too for helping me out.

Hi Gill - the only things that will earn you guarenteed money before Christmas now are ebay and reviews. Surveys are hit and miss, and it takes time to build up a balance. You're welcome to join as we can keep you motivated, plus it'll give you a headstart for next year.

Most of the info is in the first couple of posts, and if you need any more help just shout.

Theres a sponsored poll on T (its only been posted in the last half an hour) and it's about breakfast, and asks you to join a Speci@l K cereal bar panel. Payment is £5 Paypal, but usually they give you more questions and before now I've earned over £40 from it starting off being a £5 survey. It's a Juicey Br@ins one so look out for it.

I know I've left it a little late this year, I've not been on MSE for a good while so have only just discovered this wonderful thread! I do have some jobs that need doing in the house, and I'm trying to save for a holiday in 2014 too so every penny counts!

Just a couple of questions if it's OK ? I'm getting a little confused with the abbreviations, is T for Toluna ? I'm trying to work out a few of them and getting myself confused ha ha

I already do MySurvey and I'm wanting to get Amazon vouchers for that to go towards a kindle - only £10 worth or something. I need to do some more google searches I think.

You get invited to juicey Brains when you take a survey. They are usually through T(oluna).

On T at the top, there is a drop down list, and it will say sponsored polls, if you do them all, they are worth about 30 points each, one of them will be the invite to the Speci@L K thing I was talking about.

If you get screened from surveys on T(oluna) a lot, don't give up - it's still worth doing the sponsored polls, and quick polls (and make your own) as they will all earn you extra points.

PB is Panel(base)
WH is woo(hoo) bingo
YG is You(gov)
DooU is Doo(yoo) a review site
Chow is C(iao) another review site. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. If there's a particular one you're stuck on, just ask.

ETA: Gill, if you sign up to the bingo site (BP on the 2nd post) you must not talk about it on here - BUT you can earn £5 a fortnight for playing bingo and posting on the forum (just like you do here). That should get you your kindle faster.
