  • Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around, but I have been money making, early starts and late nights and I can tell you it is well and truly paying off. I made £70 yesterday and have made £9.80 from viva today so far, Ebay items ending tomorrow too. Just not enough time to fit everything in at the moment, I just haven't stopped.

Glad connor is enjoying school Legend.

So what have I missed and what have you all been up to?

Nothing much Savvy - I managed to get a touchpad. DD said she didn't want one (she really wants an Ip@d) but everyone's been asking what I want for Christmas so I said can I have money for one for myself instead. It cost more than I wanted to pay, but it comes with the touchstone and a case, so no hunting around for those.

Sadly Legend didn't get one :( - but I'll be sure to let her know if I see them again. :)

I get screened out of loads of Surveys too - I have a smartphone but internet isn't enabled on my contract - I get free landline calls. The idea was to have the landline taken out, and save some money but 18months later we still have it. Doh.

Sorry didn't come on yesterday evening. I managed two surveys on Viva so it was about 5.30 and OH said we were off to the cinema. Our first night out alone for about 18months. We even went out for a meal after (McDonalds):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'm sure he's after something.

Have done a couple of surveys this morning - and I hope to redeem on V later on as I'm on £9.95.

Off out now so have a good day everyone. Legend I hope you don't talk to yourself all day. :D See you later.....

  • I havent had any of my 85p ones added yet - hopefully soon, I'm only £4 off redeem again so hopefully will manage that before it changes! woo
I'll be quiet about the touchpad I promise (I still cant beleve we managed to get one, we ALWAYS miss the grabbits, we're usually too slow or take too long deciding if we'll buy it or not lolol)

Going to have a quiet day today. I abandoned the mittens I was making and have made a scarf for her instead which has come out really well! I just need to finish 1 flower and then I can add it to Ravelry and wrap it! I've also been instructed to buy her a cushion that turns into an animal?!?! what???? i have no idea what she is on about so I need to try and find out more.

Pablosmummy - have you got a Home Bargains near you? They have them in there if it's what I'm thinking off and they're about the cheapest.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Animal-Cuddle-Cushion-Pillow-Lady/dp/B0056F5Y64/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1315651469&sr=8-7
    That's a picture for you.

I've had £60 of vouchers from S&S this morning so pleased with that - they came really quickly too.

Nothing that exciting! Just a misprice and they refused to give me DTD and I was surrounded by 3 managers all saying no not a chance and Connor was going nuts tantruming and I was just not happy with the way I was treated so fired off an email as soon as I got home!
Before I would have just ranted but in the last year I have started to complain more and A) I feel so much better for it and B) I get bribery from certain companies!!! lol I have had a £20 Next Voucher, £10 Morrisons, £5 from GreenIsle Foods, £25 from Tesco and a few others I forget! Now I love to complain! lol

  • Hello everybody, I do read what you all say but I can't get out of the habit of being a lurker!

I was interested in Legendmum's success with complaining, I have fired off two emails to Sky, I'm hoping they apologise and offer me free Sky for 6 months or a year! :p I should be so lucky, but they are so bad at customer service they do my head in :o

Hope you all have a good weekend.

  • Hi everyone,

Sorry I disappeared this week - was on a five day intensive training course with homework each night so barely had time to check my email let alone do the surveys or come on here. Am so tired today as a result but am slowly working through my inbox! Some have expired but I've had a wee run of them. Am 30p short of a viva redeem so hopefully get another in before the big change!

Hope everyone is doing ok :D
