I managed to do a few hours of work so I feel better now and I'm allowing myself on here to 'see' you lovely lot for a little bit. I'll do a bit more work tonight then I'll manage a few more hours tomorrow. I feel I'm making a dent in it now.

Money making - I sorted lots of my old cds and dvds, and DH gave me a few of his old dvds too. I checked on musicmagpie first, most of my cds will get 30p :rotfl: Does that say something about my taste in music?! But then I checked on Ebay and quite a few of the cds and dvds are selling for a few pounds. I've sorted them into two piles now, some for musicmagpie and some to Ebay.

Good to hear the £50 to make this month doesn't just have to come from Ebay, I'll get a little bit closer if I can include the musicmagpie money :D

Well done Zangels - and you were worried. I told you, you could do it. Every penny helps.

Nicky - I'm not that strict you know ;) The challenge primarily is make £50 - however you do it is fine by me. :)

I would try again, especially for the up and coming last minute summer weddings :-)

Put a couple of my jewellery bits on ebay but decided I needed to invest in a display neck, was going to make one but by the time i had bought some material to cover it was cheaper buying at only £2.89 or something including postage, I also bought some earing holders for posting £1.84 for 40 including postage figured they would pay for themselves if i can get good photos!!!

Made 10 pairs of earings this afternoon and will list them soon as i can get photos, going to make some bracelets tomorrow ;-)

  • Thanks to those ppl that mentioned Green Metropolis and musicmagpie. Just listed some things on Greenmet and a couple of bigger books on Amazonmarketplace. Don't think I'm gonna make the £50 though! I had a clear out not long ago and gave a lot of stuff to charity. Good for charity, not for my money-making. Now off to sort through my DVDs and CDs to see if I can get rid of any of them! Anyone know of anywhere that takes videos?
