I've just been pottering really this morning. I just got soaked in a sudden downpour when i went to pick DS up from nursery. It is such a weird day. I am quite glad there school is closed tomorrow for the strikes. It's going to be nice to have a little rest. Although i keep thinking it is Friday already.

elysia you will probably be like me this month - everything will hit payout at once. (Except YG of course. :rotfl:) That is why our monthly what we earned figure is going to be so good to look at. It is much more motivating for me.

I had a little push on tolly last night. I did a couple of surveys. I always do after a voucher. I should see if i can do some polls and opinions too and boost those points. I have about 26000. That one is so hard to stick at. :o

Managed a 5000 survey on TL, only took me about 5 minutes! Think thats the most I have got off a survey on there before haha Absolutely nothing showing on Viva for me for a few days now. Usually it shows surveys but when I click through it says there is none available for me, but its not even showing that! Is it the same for anyone else? I only need £1 for redeem haha

Also got some good news today, technically I am saving £1 per day till August! I had a student account and halifax wrote and ended the interest free overdraft in March as they said the stuff they had on file for me said I finished a year ago in march. Now it was all abit of a fuss with my student account with halifax as I had to taken in evidence about 3 times. The date I had in my head was august. When I called up he said if I could take in evidence saying august again then they would change it back. But as it was last year that I took all the things in I knew I had thrown them away. So I jsut chalked it up as experience and accepted that I would be charged £1 per day for the overdraft facility. Wasnt too happy but nothing I could do about it. Then I was filing lots of paperwork away a couple of weeks ago and came across a letter from Halifax which said my overdraft would end in August 2011! So I took this in to my local branch and explained everything. The woman was lovely and said she was the complaints person and would have to put it through as a complaint to get it fixed and would call me to let me know the outcome. However Im nto able to accept calls at work so I knew I would miss her call so told her I would pop in when I next could. Went in today and the account has been changed back to a student account till august, so no fees to be added, and they have refunded the £45 charges I had already accured since march, AND she had put £25 into my account as a goodwill gesture! Hows that for service?

Giggles and so they should. I had a Hell-ifax account for years, and at our local one - they treat you like dirt. Made complaints, to the manager, and to his manager no apology whatsoever, so In the end, withdrew all the money, and opened up with LLoyds. Not only that, but so did all my family. They were so not happy. :D

Giggles - Usually a couple of surveys get posted on Wednesday pm, but mostly on Friday pm on Viva, so I'll be on the look out. ;) I have a redeem going through tomorrow, and I'm at £6.55 I think, so not too far to go.

Michelle - I did think I would cash out on everything this month the rate we were going at first. Things slowed down in the middle for me.

    Thanks ladies :D.

Have to say though Elysia I have had halifax accounts for years. Have got 2 credit cards, isa, savers account, debit card AND an electron, plus the student account. So I am definately a loyal customer and I have never had a problem before. I did get abit fed up with the student account when the evidence was going missing etc but the fact that this was dealt with so smoothly has restored my faith in them. I in no way kicked up a fuss or said 'I want...' I just showed them the letter and said I wondered if something could be done with this whilst being totally polite, she definately didnt need to put the £25 gesture of goodwill in my account. Even in the past I got charged for going over my overdraft as my current account and student account are the exact same card design and I got confused and used the student one which was at its overdraft. I rang and explained I had made a mistake and the charges were completely cleared for me as he said he could see I was a loyal customer and had never done this before, and that quite alot of people make the same mistake! I guess it totally depends on what your local branch staff are like, its disgraceful that you didnt even get an apology!

I'd set it up correctly (sort of) I just forgot to click one button. Oops.

Yes bunbun - I don't recommend it at all. I much prefer the one S&S one rather than the homes-can one. It is too much trouble, and the rewards aren't worth it. It would take a whole year or more, to be able to get anything decent.

I'm just doing it until DD1 goes back to uni (as she helps me with the shopping/scanning) I would never be able to manage both on my own. I'll have stuff defrosting left, right and centre. :D The S&S scan takes a few minutes, the homes-can one takes half an hour with the two of us. Like I say, I'm just doing it for now so at least I'll get something at the end of it.
