Challenge No 6 – June 2011
1. Take the oath – Promise you will complete every survey on so and so site. Whatever site it is, is up to you. If you’re struggling with any one imparticular, make it that one, OR if one is sending you quite a lot lately, make it that. It’s your choice.
I, Pink, do solemnly declare to partake in every survey sent to me by to luna, until the end of the month.
2. Pay the forfeit – Earn £2.50 a day by any means possible – using vouchers while shopping, surveys, writing reviews, eBay sales spread out over the week, etc. However you'd like to do it is ok. If by the end of the evening, you haven’t earned at least £2.50, you put 50p in your savings account.
This is certainly a tough one but I'm willing to give it a bash.
3. Remember Quidco! I don’t know about you, but I seem to have got out of the habit of using Quidco/TCB when I’m making a small purchase, thinking, oh it’s only pennies. That could be why my payments have gone drastically down.
Make sure you use cash back sites for EVERY online payment, and don’t forget your reward cards in store. You’ll soon see the benefit.
I've got out of the way of buying things online at all lately but any I do will be with cashback!
4. It’s Father’s Day this month – instead of buying cards, either you make them, or gets the kids to do it. They are more special then, and the price of some of them in the shops, is astronomical. Don’t go out and buy tonnes of card and stuff, see what you can make from what you have at home. Granddads will treasure a card off the Grandkids, the more glitter the better
.
As someone who doesn't make things this is not my cup of tea...but... I got my card free from the Funky Pigeon deal posted on here a couple of months back, I got a deal on some lynx stuff in boots and I bought a thorntons box of fudge from a voucher so all very thrifty gifty :A
Thank you Elysia for dreaming up challenges to keep us going. Am trying to get better at rating on DY and C this month.

Hi everyone, I managed a DY review this morning before we went out, just did a bit of rating this evening while watching BGT. Started a new quilt for my shop too and finished another cushion off, just need to do the photos tomorrow.0

Just seen that there is a message on FB saying the guides are being paid for, and there is also a samsung DVD for the best guide. It would be lovely if that were one of us too wouldn't it.

No payment for me yet
has anyone else received it yet? I thought it was the best video review that would win the samsung dvd player but it says the guides on his last update. Would be great if it is the guides and even better if it is one of us that would be even better! I agree that I read some of your guides and they will brill
I had a viva payment go in today too
. So transfered it out straight away so will put that in the xmas savings as soon as it hits my bank.
Never got going with piney. The email sent with a link to extra questions came up with an error when i put my ID and password in. I emailed asking for help and she replied saying she had accessed it ok so just try again and make sure I wasnt copying and pasting as this could cause errors. So tried, and no luck. Replied saying i had tried exactly what she said but it was still coming up with the same error, and she replied saying.... exactly what she had said in the previous reply! It was like she had just copied and pasted it!!!!! So didnt see any point in replying again after that!0 -

Well done everyone on 'yesterdays' hard work.

Didn't manage to get back on earlier - I went on Asda to buy something off grabbit and caught a virus - that'll teach me.
So I've spent almost three hours, trying get rid of the blasted thing.
I had an email asking me to join a panel thingy this evening - prizes and incentives the more you join in, but I get a $5 welcome fee paid into paypal, so what's that? about £3.00?
Fingers and toes crossed - our shop.com payments will be made tomorrow.
I'll be grinning like a cheshire cat, if it is.
Claire - congrats on the news about the new baby. I know your sister will be pleased for them, but it's a shame for her.
Right, I'm off now - night all xxxI :heartpuls M.S.E.

Going to try my hardest with this one.

I'm pretty good at remembering this, even dh knows not to pay for any ebay such through his comp and wait for me to do it.

We love making things so this is one we do anyway, have to avoid the glitter as dh hates the stuff but we do lots of sticking.
Made my first 2 days of £2.50 with surveys and a couple of late payers on ebay. We go off on our hols this afternoon and I am not as dedicated as Elysia and will not be doing surveys whilst away!! However won £15 at local bingo last night so spreading that and it takes me to wed and we are back Thurs so I am going to be ok.
Not been on for a few days as been trying to get all my Avon done before we go and with packing and cooking meals for the first few days away (very mse) I haven't had time.
So hi to any newbies.
Hope all are ok, has anyone heard from Kec? Not sure if I missed a post from her but I don't think so. Hope you are ok hun.
Haven't had chance to tot up last months totals but I think it was an okish month. Fingers crossed we get shop pay today and good luck to all on the dvd extra!!!
See you all in a week, take care all

Good mornign everyone, my aim today os to do every survey that hits my inbox - yikes.
I managed to cash in £3 from mysurveys, and also almost at £10 with VO.
I also did way over £2.50 yesterday, so hopefully i can do the same today.
Other than that I am off to drop my eldest at her grandma's until sunday , so today is just me mini man and little one, then tomorrow until sunday is just me and lil one, which wil be nice, I plan on getting on some much needed exercise before i go back to work on monday, trying to get myself into a routine again.
So i think a trip to the park is in order today for a little exercise, and a lot of play in the garden this afternoon as the weather is glorious, trying to stay away from the shops today.
Hope you all have a wonderful day0 -
Well done Knit - hope you have a lovely weekend.
Stepmum - you have a lovely holiday. You've earned it.
And well done on the bingo win. We'll see you when you get back.
No Kec hasn't come back here since, so it's been almost a fortnight. I'll look in a minute to see if she's been posting elsewhere - I do hope she's alright.
Legend - That's the fourth one of been on, they are all set up from scratch and usually last about six months, so fingers crossed for lots of payments. I did the survey about the handwash and then computer played up, so I'll have to go back on today.
If you play on WH today can you change your colour of your name to blue? Dreama passed away.
