Well done Dingdong - and welcome to the thread hun.

I know the feeling, I think we're all having to cut down a little (if not a lot), but it's the little things that mount up. I won't think twice about going through quidco for car insurance etc, but little ebay purchases etc, I've been neglecting lately.

I hope you get your S&S scanner up and running soon - apparently they hassle you until you do. ;)

Thanks for the new challenges. I dont actually get many surveys these days, so i think its cos I went through a stage with all the family troubles that I just didnt do them, or junked them oops.
I have done my main shopping on line with the mysupermarket stuff and sends it through to Mr A. What I seem to keep forgetting is claiming my ipoints! what a waste. I also need to refresh where the heck my ipoints things even are!

If I have made savings by doing the swap and save? Should I be putting that in the savings pot then?
What about the savings that you get if you buy the 3 packs of meat at £10 instead of the individual prices? Cos I think I wouldnt be able to afford to do that? The whole reason I am buying what I can on the smartprice or the offers.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Hello, another newbie here ;) I've been stalking this thread for SO long I thought I'd chip in.

Really want to have a money neutral christmas! So far I have a £10 argos voucher in my pot after a redeem from VO. All money I'm making is going towards a car at the moment, but all vouchers with a long expiry will be for christmas! I only buy for DD and my mum and brother so it's not lots, and perfectly achievable (she says!!).

In regards to luny, I do all surveys and sponsered polls.. But I don't really get the community side of it, can you get points by replying to opinions? I'm on about 60k and really wanna get to 80 asap so I can have a chance at getting vouchers by christmas!!

Sorry for the delay in the challenges. I've been busy with DD2 today, and suddenly realised earlier that it was the 1st today. I think the Bnk Holiday on Monday threw me out. :)

Sorry to quote myself - It just dawned on me, it's not Bank Holiday until next week. I don't know whether I'm coming or going with the kids off. :rotfl:

And while we are at it, i keep spending my amazon vouchers and i am pretty sure i could go through the nectar site and claim nectar points.

I've gone off quidco loads as i have loads of stuff that is outstanding and they are just not paying. Drives me mad. Especially when they are mostly from November to January.

Right, i am up for the new challenge. I am ahead already on £2.50 a day as i have had a productive day, but i get the feeling it will be easier on weekdays. I'm going to take it that it is on top of stuff we already know we have coming in. ;)

And the site i pledge to do more on is maximiles - i'll include in that surveys.com as they pay out in maximiles now too, and i want to get sainsburys vouchers to pay for food when we go on holiday in the summer.

    Nice challenges Elysia. :D

Elysia - what are you on today? Bank hol was on Monday. (Though you just got me doubting myself. I double checked, and then checked you weren't in another place like Scotland with its own bank hols. ):o

Mooloo - I don't do ipoints, perhaps someone else can help with that one. If you did the surveys more, they'd send more through. Perhaps you could sign up to another site, and make sure you do every one they send as part of the challenge? That would be good. :)

Re the shopping - however you want to do it is ok by me, some save the money in their pot, and some buy the savings stamps with it. At the bottom of the receipt where it says you have saved £XXXX, if it's less than £5 I put that in my pot, and if it's over I just put the fiver. If you only do it on your weekly shop, thats up to £20 saved without hardly noticing. p.s. I'm a smart price girl too. Don't worry, just do what you can, and save what you can. :)

Hiya Cornish Chick - I'm glad you're not lurking anymore :D Welcome to the thread. The tip with Toluna is you write your own opinions and polls. You get points for that. You also answer other people's opinions (make sure you write 80 words and not less) you get points then. The more peoples ops and polls you answer, they SHOULD return the favour - and that way you mount up points. Let us know your T username and we'll add you as a friend, and we all do each others. You'll be able to redeem in no time. ;). Have you read through the first few posts for hints and tips?

Oh dear!!! I think I need more sleep too.:eek::eek:

What it is, it's my sisters birthday on the 3rd, and it usually falls around the Bank holiday. The 3rd is Friday so I thought for a second Bank Holiday was next Monday. ;)

I'm just off for a lie down - my brain hurts. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks for the welcome :D Oh I think I get it, I have being replying to the odd opinion but didn't want to go too mad if I wasn't getting anything from it! My username is zoekacie :)

I've read through the first few posts. Already signed upto most of the survey sites, use some more than others though! I'm doing well on ebay, but this isn't going into the christmas fund just yet (hopefully it wont take me long to get the blimin car out the way! so I have more time to get ready for christmas!).
