Hi guys, hope everyone is well.
I have had a bad week with the new pills, they made me worse than ever, think I hit rock bottom this week. I have never felt so ill in my life, I am hoping that will change as I gradually up the dose. I take them before bed and the good thing is they have been helping me sleep a bit better.
Just about managed to work this week so haven't done any money making, also had to spend money on the car again so no extra payments to the cc this month. I was doing some extra work for someone in the eve and w/e but have had to stop it for now due to how bad I feel so I am really going to struggle with money now.
Trying to get motivated again and started off by doing one survey with T earlier, I still haven't had any vouchers from them, they are from mid jan and mid feb, bit annoying at how long they take to pay out.
Made some cakes this afternoon but being as I am not all with it at the moment I managed to mess them up as well, they were still warm when i iced them so some of the icing has melted at the edges so they don't look as nice
Elysia and anyone else going away, hope you have a lovely time.
Esmer good luck with the move next week.
Twinklekat hope you are doing better with your meds now.Aiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!0 -
Hi everyone and congrats on all your efforts. Viva is a bit hit and miss with me - I'm stuck on £5. I have won a Surveyfriends auction so hope I get that voucher. The contact email was in my spam folder and I haven't had a reply yet.
I got another £20 M & S vouchers from onepost which I have spent already on Easter presents. They are looking for "seeds" in the following areas:
Cambridge, Canterbury, Farnborough, Carlisle, London (Central & East), Aberdeen, Gatwick, Cardiff, Tyneside, Portsmouth, Swansea, Truro,
All you do is log mail they send you and you get £1 for each piece of mail recorded, paid when your reach 20 in M & S vouchers. PM me with your name address and email address and I will refer you.
Enjoy your hols everyone who is going away.0 -
Hi everyone thank you for the warm welcome. im not sure where to start or which thread so i thought id just list where im up to for xmas. I guess i need quite a bit for xmas ive started doing surveys and im on about 8 - 10 sites but dont seem to be getting anything from them . some say my profile is only 25% complete but cant find away to do more. still made about 8.00 between diff sites in a few days.
i had a rake around the house the other day and found an old coppers jar i'd forgotten with nearly £50 in it so i was very please what a start.im growing lots of veg in pots on the patio this year so that should save me a few pounds.Things like sweetcorn, salad potatoes, tomatoes, pumpkins and courguettes carrots beetroot and so on son loves this and he eats like a horse at harvest time. (speaking of growing maryop if you need rid of pots i'll give you postage if you wanna post them to me in in fife always looking for pots)
Going to get stuff together for ebay but im a childminder who works tons during the school holidays so i havent had a chance yet. i notice on the thread somewhere that you guys were starting off with surveys etc for us beginners but could i ask what else you guys do, going on holiday soon and really like to make some more cash before then really skint just now.
Anyhoo, crafty things, im going to make warm crochet throws for my mum and mum in law and preserve hampers with all homemade preserves and things from the garden( hopefully) for my son and baby on the way im hoping to make a fleece throws with personalised characters on them but i havent got round to starting anything yet between having a hard time at only 4 months pregnant and working so much feeling a bit swamped.going to get sorted soon. The issue i have is adults i buy for see home made things as 'cute' when theyre for someone else but theyre faces say different when they recieve them. made huge homemade sweetie hamper for each house hold as an extra last year and more of it went in the bin so i was told. do any of you have this issue i want them to realise how much time and love i pour into these things but the see it as a cheap way out.
sorry to moan but so frustrating with baby number 2 on the way and husband on v low wage, my wage tops his up and then im expected to save for all gifts etc as well as days out and treats all year. cant do it all.wow sorry caught me up in a rant there lol i apologise hope ive posted this correctly if its not on the right thread i am sorry i get confused between them lol hope youve all had a good start to the week.0 -
Hi everyone, hope your all well and enjoying the Easter break and the glorious sunshine
Just as you finish one problem on ebay there is always another isn't there, buyer didn't collect item from post office for four weeks so post office will be sending it back to me, yet I didn't put the return address to send it to, fun and games really. But hopefully that will be the last of the drama. Think I will be giving ebay a miss from now, can't do a degree and deal with all the hassle of buyers too lol.
Fantastic news, took the car to be MOT'd today, they don't take appointments, luckily I arrived before four other people and was able to be seen fairly quickly as they had almost finished the car ahead of mine, he started doing the tests and I hear myself asking the universe to make this a pass, I deserve it after such an awful month. The guy comes out and says it has passed the MOT, will need a ball joint replaced soon but it passed none the less, massive relief!
Hi gail and welcome to the thread, I know that it can be daunting with low income and a baby on the way, finding this thread was a great step in the right direction with saving (or should I say earning) extra pennies to pay for Christmas. We mostly do the survey sites which work well for some and maybe not so well for others, some find ebay great, or carboot sales, free bingo, mystery shopping, even writing reviews can be good if you enjoy writing.Comping wishlist for 2017

Morning Everyone - I'm still here. LOL
Internet dongle is sooo slow - so I've not been able to do any surveys, as by the time the page loads i've lost connection. Grrr and I had loads yesterday too.
Kec - you just do what you can manage, you need to concentrate on getting yourself better! As long as the bills are paid and you are ok, nothing else matters hun.
Pink - I can still see the test on viva, it's very odd! Like I said, after re-reading my entry for the test, I wasn't very happy with it. It made sense after I read it through, but I should have left it a while, and then re-read it before I submitted.Anyway I passed, but I only got 3/5.
Got to go now. Elysia's packed with her bucket and spade - we're off to the beach for the day. See you all later. Have a good day.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Morning all, lovely day here, just went down to the postbox and it feels WARM at last. Did a few surveys last night, I am up to £17 odd on SN, did two more last night so shouldn't be long before I am able to redeem.
Was hoping my Quidco money would be in my bank today as spent a bit of it yesterday lol, mind you OH paid so I just have to give it back to him when I get it.0 -
Hi all, sorry I haven't really been around much over the last few weeks but with working 3 jobs and looking after the twins I am just not getting the time. Hoping I don't miss anyone one in my catching up cos it's been soooo long.
Legend - missing you too hun, as much as bp turned out to be such "bleeps" I really miss our 8pm catch up where we all got to chat.
Twinklekat - my sis in law lives on an island just off hong kong called macau. dh went out to visit and he said it is amazing you will have a great time. Just be prepared for the humidity!
Elysia - Your totals are amazing, what an insparation you are. Hope you have a great time away, can't believe you still do your surveys!! But then I guess that's part of the reason you have such great totals. Brilliant.
Giggles-fairy - hope your cat is doing ok, such a worry when they are poorly and so bloomin expensive. Have a great time down my way. Longleat is great I am saving my mr t vouchers for it.
NickyBo - thanks for the heads up on shopping.com did my surveys. Not done anything with them before couldn't believe how simple and easy it was.
Skiergirl - sorry to hear about your op, my dd is on crutches after an accident abroad and it is driving her mad too. Not fun.
Esmer - hope all goes ok with the move, you are sooo busy.
livermum - that's a good amount to come through and just in time by the sounds of things.
savvy - so glad you finaly had a good result form your ebay issues, I'm awaiting to hear from someone who has said their item hasn't arrived. I asked them to let me know by the weekend if it was there or not and have heard nothing.
Kec09 - sorry to hear things have been so bad for you this week. Thinking of you and hoping things start to improve.
Gail127 - welcome and congrats on the pregnancy, I still felt rough at 4 months so that fact that you able to any extra is all credit to you.
Sorry to anyone I have missed.
Take care Jayne0 -
NickyBo, Twinkle, Susan and Savvy : Thanks Ladies
Stepmum: The results were not good for my cat. He has a low white blood count so got to take him back for another test for feline aids and lukemia. I was devastated. I keep crying all the time as the thought of loosing him is just too much for me. I know some people will think Im daft as hes a cat but he really is my little baby. I got him when I was 10 so I dont really remember a time before him. I am trying to stop myself from thinking about it until we get the test results and I know exactly what is wrong with him but when we are snuggled up in bed at night its difficult to not think about him no being there anymore. He doesnt seem to be in any pain and has started eating lots of the pescribed cat biscuits we bought him (£25 eek! But hes worth it) so thats good.
I had a great time at Longleat. We went last year for the first time. Was so glad the monkeys were open this year, it was HILARIOUS! They pulled the rubber off my car hahaha I have not laughed that much in a long time! And I was a brave girl and held a snake and a tarantula! The weather was beautiful too and we went to Bath yesterday. I am actually in love with Bath haha. Sadly by the time we had eaten then looked around the roman baths everyone was ready to head off then. I wanted to have a look around all the shops but as we were a group of 9 you have to go with the majoritys decision so I didnt get a chance to have much of a look round. I did pick up a very very cute cake stand though!
And best of all I used T vouchers for Longleat and had £250 that I had saved/earned as spends (didnt want to have to worry about money whilst there) and I only spent £180! So thats £70 back in to my piggy bank for another treat0 -
Yay. Received my £50 cheque from DY today. I also reached my first £10 payout on vivatic.
The main thing i popped in for though was because there is about £1 worth of polls on OP at the moment.0 -
