Good morning ladies, what an eventful day I had yesterday. OH was bitten by a dog last night while we were out walking our two so we ended up in A&E til the early hours. I've got the most horrible feeling it is going to get infected as he had septicemia last year so his immune system is a bit weak still... Ergh!!
Anyway, I'm going to have a blitz on the surveys today and see if I can get a redeem from mSurvy this weekend. Work have told me that they are not going to renew my contract so think I will spend the afternoon getting my CV sorted and looking for a new job! Have also got a pang of wanting to go back to Uni, perhaps to train to be a teacher but I'm not sure I'll be able to afford it this year.
Hope you're all well, xxDribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

Twinkle - sorry to hear about work and OH. It never rains but it pours lately doesn't it?
Giggles - I had that email about the £30 too, I considered it, but I wouldn't want my photo published.
Rufus - well done on the reviews - I played WH yesterday and got 5 gold, I got about 11 the day before, so I expect I'll not win again for ages.
Pink - well done on the surveys. Is You - gov regular? I've been on there three months and only had one survey. It'll take foreverrrrr.
Esmer - I hope DD was fine without her dummy. I never had that problem with my two, DD1 had a cold at 7 months old, and as she sucked her dummy she couldn't breathe, so we just never gave her them back when she was better, and DD2 didn't have anything, no dummy/bottle/beaker etc. It was so funny, whenever we were out, we had to give her a drink from a proper mug or glass, even when she was only a month old, - it was the only way she would drink, you ought to see the looks I used to get. Horrible mother depriving her child!
Sorry Savvy - I got way laid then.
I hope DD had a better nights sleep. I should think you were all shattered. Those cookies sound nice. I may have a go at some today myself. I'll get dd to help when she comes home from school.
Well done everyone who completed the mini challenge - that was a quick tenner earned.

Giggles, I had no probs when I used them, so I can recommend. Only for £18 but as you say they would have sold for less if at all at a car boot.
Never had a product test before but this week had the iffy dvd (hopefully points anyway), a sensitive face cream from Cl**x & just got a month worth of dishwasher tabs via TN...S. All come in handy :T.Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in infamy!!0 -
I find yougov isn't too bad. I am sure I got more regular surveys when I was working full time, but I average one £50 every two years which isn't terrible! Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0

Thanks Pink.

Samba - I love product tests. I haven't had one for about a fortnight now so I'm jealous.
Susie - thanks for the info. My email must have come through just as I left to go shopping - I was going to be a horrible auntie and choose a book token for my nephew, but they charge £1 to send it through the post, so I plumped for the Amazon one too. I was very nearly tempted to have a Lakeland one, and buy some cakemaking bits, but I had the Kindle last month, so that had best be it for a bit.
Have a lovely rest of the afternoon everyone - Thank Crunchie it's Friday.

Ooo I am really annoyed, I have got my code through to get my voucher but after reading they add a £1 delivery charge, I decided to go for Amazon but they start at £20 vouchers not £10  On top of this my smartphone refuses to load up, I have soft reset it numerous times and wont let me do a system restore so now has to be sent to be fixed with no warranty, what a rubbish day

And to add to my stress it seems like every kid in the neighbourhood has chosen the carpark outside my house where the car is to play football with what only can be describe as a medicine ball, seriously, where are the bloody parents??? How irresponsible!Comping wishlist for 2017

Savvy - I did that too. I ordered a voucher and then thought I'm not paying the £1 for the card, so I ordered Amazon too. You can get a £10 one.
ETA: What I did was, I applied the code at the top left corner, and it told me I had £10. Then it said I could place a quick order without going through the other pages (where you can only choose £20), so I scrolled down to Amazon, and it automatically filled in at £10.
I hope that helps.
What a shame about your phone. I have a smartphone, but I never use the internet on it, it's a bit of a waste really. I may ebay it at some point. I hope they can get yours fixed without costing too much or taking too long.I :heartpuls M.S.E.
