  • Have done a couple for you legendmum.

Having a lazy day today, managed to get another review done and that's about it. Got family coming soon so laptop away in a min.

Hopefully get the ebay listings done tomorrow! On a plus note uploaded my first shopandscan and got my 10000 points for my first upload, yeah. Shame it can't be that much reward every week, but then that's being a little bit too greedy :D

    HI
Thanks for the welcome Elysia! Glad to pick up more hints and tips - I use Vista quite a bit, currently have matching pen, notebook and mug on way for niece's hamper. Also use their T shirt and cotton bag freebies when they come up - both can be done with nice designs and wording to fit in with garden-type hampers, did a jolly 'come into the garden' T shirt with 'matching' peg bag for my mum who moved house last year and is loving having a flat garden that she can get around and grow things in! Generally I get 4 free items each time (the limit on their flyers) and it usually costs me under £5 in the postage for the lot, so I'm always on the hunt for ideas to expand how to theme, use and personalise their freebies.
Nicky, I know we haven't 'spoken' before but I am sorry for your loss - a sudden loss is absolutely traumatic: I am thinking of you and your family on this sad day.

Kec: Valued Ops can take 2 hours to 2 months to add the money onto your account. Just keep on top of them and if it disappears and isn't credited a week later send them a polite email and they will add it on for you. With 1poll, you need to keep checking throughout the day as they upload them at random intervals.

Well done on your ipsos vouchers, I got my VO tesco card through today :)

Thanks for your kind messages everyone.

Habibiboo, I absolutely LOVE Vistaprint! I did another free order this morning, I got:
    * a pen for myself
    * 10 notecards, I chose a blue and green Happy birthday design that will do for nearly everyone. I think I'll keep some at work for 'emergencies'!
    * 100 postcards, I had Well done printed on them. I got some blue starry ones last month so I got bright pink ones this time. They'e to give to kids at school.
    * A photo mug for my son to give to my husband for Fathers day.

Last month I ordered a lovely canvas bag for myself with a picture of DS dressed up as Darth Vader! I also got a notebook for DH, a pen for my teaching student and something else, I can't remember what though! That will be a nice surprise when it comes :)

I'm thinking of doing hampers for the ladies in my family for Christmas. I've done pamper hampers before and wanted something a bit different. I think I'm going to theme them by colour as I've seen those on the hampers thread and they look really effective. I thought I might try to collect Vista items like mugs, pens, bags, notebooks etc in the colours I choose for the hampers.
    Making money for Christmas 2012!

Well I have made £10 today! Have joined a group on my facebook for the local area Free and Cheap! Put some of DS's Thomas Tank toys that I did have in the charity bag and they sold within 10 minutes of putting them on! Wahey! Lady is calling down at 5.30 to collect! Put a few more bits on there for my Mum as she is emptying her house as she is selling it, she hasnt lived there for like 8 years but my bro was renting from her for a while then it stayed empty as she was going to do it up to rent, and I said I would ebay her hoards of stuff, alot of it new in packs like curtains and duvet sets etc! So I get commission from whatever I make her!

Nicky so sorry to hear about your Auntie - what a shock!

Susan - I can't believe that was the outcome on eBay!!! That's terrible. I went to our Boots today and nothing left, not a sausage. Grrr

Legend -It's fine, if you want to do ebay instead, it's up to you, it's only a guide ;) I have four things ending tomorrow. They won't make a fortune, but every penny helps.

Rufus - I hope you have a lovely day out.

Sam - on Opinion World, lots of them are not for money, just for prize draw entries. I usually only do the ones for money.

Twinklekat - Brilliant news about the Tesco voucher - are you saving them, or using them and putting the money away?

I worked through a few people on T early this morning, but had lots of trouble with the site going slow, so I gave up. Legend, I did notice one or two were close, so I did another opinion for you. I've not had any points for my 80 word replies, so I'm not gong to bother again. I'll just stick to what I did before.

I had to go out and buy DD new shoes from Clarkes - I chose some reduced in the sale for £8, but she's got narrow feet, so I ended up paying £28. Not too bad for Clarks I suppose. Since I've been back I've rated everyone on DooU, so Nicky I AM checking. ;)

Just going over to Bp to do my posts, not playing as I need to save my points, so have fun everyone later.

    Take care. xxx
