Hi everyone, saw this and thought it may help someone out...

Funky Pigeon give you £3.00 if you refer a friend after they place their first order. Your friend gets 30% off their first order. Cards cost from £1.25 (inc 30%) for that first order.

So if you have two email addresses you can get four personalised cards for as little as £1.25.

Sign up with funky pigeon. Once you have registered you need to refer a friend (your other email address). You need to then register your other email address using your referral code. Then go and order a card of your choice (30%) is taken off at checkout, make sure the referal code is in the code box at checkout (you cannot use the 50% off code yet). Once you have checked out the original account you set up will have £3.00 credit.

There is a code at the moment for 50% off any card purchase. The cheapest cards I found are £1.79 at checkout put Funky530 in the code box and apply it to get 50% off a card.

I hope that makes sense, I just did it and ordered 4 cards. Two birthday cards, a valentines card and a mothers day card for just over 31p each :D

The 50% code expires on 2nd Feb at midnight.

  • HI I have been lurking here for a couple of weeks now and reading with interest everybodys posts. I have started some of the surveys etc that you have all mentioned and have already started to d well on them, sme of them I have been a member of for sometime. So I thought I would introduce myself and come out of teh closet so to speak! So, I am Nicola, I ama stay at home mummy to my little boy (4) and little girl (1) I gve up teaching when I had my eldest and am currently a Usborne booksat home organiser, this fits in well with my family life as I can do as much as I want to. My hubby is self employed since last august as he had been working such long hours for a company and we hardly saw him and when we did he wastired and grumpy, so work life balance has greatly improved since he went selfemployed and the kids (and me) love having him home more.
My january totals for surveys etc are...
    Toluna - £30 amazon redeemed
    Valued Opinions - £20 redeemed
BP - £5 redeemed (how quick do they send these to email address?)
    £Onepoll - £3.75
    Pureprofile £9.75
    Vista - £23.00
    Juicybrain (approx) £15 into paypal

Haven't done ebay though do have loads I could put on there so need t get my bum into gear with that one.

Can you let me know more about the opinions thing on toluna, only really do teh suveys though have posted opinions in teh past not made any points on them though, so how do you get te points on these?

Thanks and looking forward to chatting,
    Nicola
  • Finally caught up with the last 8 pages :j

Hope everyone is ok, the totals are looking good for this month

Don't know if I should put my totals here because I am doing a £10/day challenge with myself - not trying to be money neutral as such, really to start having some savings and hopefully to celebrate DS's 18th BDay.
Also mine is a mixture of money earnt, saved and aquired from various sources.

Not sure if I will join this months challenge - DoU looks too scary for me!! might see if I can get some bits together to go on e-bay.

Feel a bit of a failure at the moment because I don't have a lot of free time to spend doing surveys and catching up here, have picked up some extra hours at work til July, and kids have so many clubs at the moment I seem to be running mum's taxi every evening, will probably drop off the radar and just read in future

Wishing you all loads of luck with your challenge

Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

  • Ahh Monday again :(

Welcome back Candi, and hello Nicola and Missus. Nicola, vouchers should be in your inbox or junkbox on Thursday as BP process on a Wednesday night. You all sound well on your way to a money neutral Christmas.

I've been really impressed with Survey Network as a survey site, but others on here not so much. I use firefox to do all of my surveys and in the settings have it so that no history is kept while browsing. Seems to keep the survey sites happy.

In terms on 2lna and opinion points, if you write or reply to someone's opinion over 80 words you get 100 points, and if your opinion receives 20 replies you get 500 points, 30 replies then 1000 points. You can make a maximum of 15 000 points per month this way. I have yet to have any of my 100pts added, but it's 2lna so I'm not overly surprised there!!

Legend, hope you managed to get some sleep last night and he is a bit better this morning.

Stressed, you will be missed, come back and let us know how you are. Your £10 a day challenge sounds tough but well done for what you have achieved, you are not a failure. xxx

    Thanks all and welcome newbies!

DS stayed with me all night! I did get some sleep but kept checking his rash! This morning rash was worse on face and had spread to belly, made appointment at Docs and it has no disappeared! Typical! Its ok though I have photographic evidence and will be showing this to Doc at 11am! All he has had for breakfast is milk and an ice lolly, I know not the best but all he wanted! His toast is sitting on the table still! I even offered chocolate muffin but no! Very strange! Will wait and see what hes like with regards to creche cos if hes a grumpy boy then I fear for the other kids safety! lol
I really need a bed day! Hes had rough nights since Thursday!

Right off to check Looney and see if they have any new surveys for me as I have done all polls and they have no surveys for me! I seriously doubt I have done them all!
Catch you all later oh and thanks again ladies! xx
