    This post is reserved for Challenges.

    Challenge 1: January 2011.

    1. THE AIM IS TO MAKE £50 ON EBAY. (after all ebay/paypal fees and postage has been taken into account).

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    2. OPEN A SEPARATE CHRISTMAS SAVINGS ACCOUNT.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    3.SAVE UPTO £5 WHEN YOU DO YOUR SHOPPING

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    4. Save for January sales!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Right thought I better post this now before I forget again!

    1. made £17 on ebay but made £25 from selling on works notice board, I do have a couple more items to go on to ebay but not sure that will be done by the end of this month.

    so £42 made in total if the works notice board would count instead of ebay.

    2. Opened new savings account last night, my aim is to transfer any spare money from wages the night before one of us gets paid so last night I opened account with £100 from OH wages and I got paid today, lets see what is left from my wages when OH gets paid.

    3. saved £2.20 in a$da put that in sealed jar not impressed with the savings for a big monthly shop from there this time usually I can get at least £5 plus i didn't qualify for their 10% savings voucher :(

    4. joined the sealed pot group on MSE and putting coins in every day plus OH is doing it as well! will be opened either for Christmas or january sales (I dont really do january sales but may try them next year)

    looking forward to next months challenges, just got to get on with the challenges from the other thread now
  • Good morning everyone. Legend the CMs have all gone a little crazy in the last week or so - you're going to have to sit in the naughty chair soon!

    I've just completed a survey to test some crisps from 2lna! Whoop. OH is impressed as he is a crisp monster. Other than that not much else to report. Have a good day everyone x

    Did my review, am up to 8490 on there so creeping up. If I can do one a day would be good, will have to have another search to see what are the bigger points ones at the moment.

    Checked loonie just now and am up to over 10000 points already and only redeemed day before yesterday so not too bad on there although points are just from surveys and polls etc plus my extra 500.

    I taped the tennis last night and got up this morning to come and watch it, was talking to my Dad on instant messenger about the football and he came out with "did you see Murray won last night" lol. Had only just started watching it as well.
  • Hey guys. Does anyone know if there is an equivalent of music magpie for books? Have decided to get rid of all my old uni books - as I aint going to use them. Thought something like tht would be easier than ebay!

    Legend – now you know why I used to do my posts while playing on auto! I do agree, it’s getting ridiculous on there lately.

    Samba – way hey – what a result. That’s fantastic!!!

    Zangels – thanks for popping by on 2loony. If these points aren’t added by the end of the first week in Feb, I’m just sticking to paid polls and surveys, like I used to. That’s right about BP – you could play if you wanted to, but why waste the points if you’re saving them to redeem?

    Rufus – I’m glad you got your points. I came to reply again, but Susie beat me to it J. I did another anyway because you get more points when you get to 51 (I think). I wake up to our alarm which is a radio and it told me the result before I even got out of bed. Grrr

    Happy crafter – well done. That’s a brilliant achievement. The challenge basically was to make £50, and you’re not far off. Ebay was just a suggestion. J

    Twinklekat – was it you who said you hadn’t done a product test yet? My crisps arrived this morning and they are yummy! I’ll have tests coming out of my earholes soon LOL – I filled one in this morning for toothpaste. OH was laughing, as he said our weekly groceries come by Royal Mail – he wouldn’t mind so much, but he’s our postman. :rotfl:

    Bevally – well done hun. The first redeem is the best.:j

    Kelda I've used Amazon to sell my Uni books and have overall been impressed by them. Only thing to watch out on is the P&P - as it's a set rate I've lost some of my earnings to pay for books to go by ParcelForce as they were too heavy for Royal Mail.

    Alternatively, if you're still near a Uni you could contact the department similar to your subject and ask if they would message all students with your lists of books and prices, therefore, cash in your pocket and not to Amazon/post!

    Well done on your redeem Bev x

    Yes it t'was me. I'm glad they're nice crisps! I didn't look like my survey went all the way to the confirmation page though so we shall see when it turns up! My OH laughs too as I had two different washing gels to test at the same time last year via VOpinions and IAP, but it also meant we didn't need to buy any for about 9 months! He moans at all the parcels and letters I get but only because he is jealous!

    You having a good day Elysia?

    I have spent most of the morning on toluna - I am now at 78,200. I WILL get to 80,000! most of this is from polls - how many times have I done the same poll but if I get points :T

    I had my first win on BP last night. OK it was only one line but it was still a win:rotfl: I can't keep up with the chat it goes too fast for me:rotfl: it must have gone downhill after I left:D

    well done on your redeem Bev

    I haven't done any tests on toluna - I must check more often
