A healthy credit file impacts lots of areas of life not just consumer credit.;)
Rental properties and utilities/service providers being some. A healthy credit file also helps with better rates should the OP wish to apply for credit in the future -which is their right. A card such as the one the OP is looking at would help build a credit history and if used correctly would be very valuable.Empty pockets never held anyone back! I think that has to be a personal choice ...I wouldn't want use them again, but thats just me. Everyone has the right to make their own choice
