I've not had a baby, have had a career break in the past. Just smiling at the notion it might be misinterpreted as a spell inside

So I put, completing MBA. That works.0 -
So how long a gap is 'safe' to leave 'unaccounted for'? Having just updated my CV, I have a one year gap and a 4 month gap in the last 15 years - I account for the one year gap (I was actually doing something useful in that year;) honest!), but I never put anything to cover the 4 months, it's just a gap between jobs, isn't it? I was actually writing my thesis at the time, but looking for work as well

Our lad has a 'gap' problem, but it was fairly normal in his old line of work (field archaeology), and it was acceptable to put 'summer', or '01-02' ( a cheeky one on his part, because it was only Nov - Feb:o).
I was asked about the four month gap in the job I got immediately after it, but have never been asked since (perhaps short prison sentences are acceptable to employers:p. Sorry, I'll get me coat)0 -
I put the month and year down, my current job i remember the exact day i started as thats when it went down hill (for me) and never went up hill0

CVs don't get you real jobs: they are to get you interviews.bristol_pilot wrote: »Unless you have been offered every job you have ever applied for, how would you know if your CV had been binned for that reason?
My success rate at getting interviews was high. There were no gaps and no short tenures. If you stay somewhere five years the exact months are not significant.0 -
