Security checks

Hi, please can someone offer me some advice.
I was recently made redundant and now have been offered another job, I have to clear the security checks. I have 2 defaults which are coming off in February- no ccj's. Do they check ur whole credit report or just the CCJ and bankrupt records?
I am really worried this is going to mess my chances up

what sort of job is it?I

It is just for a customer/service administration role, but it is for a big company and maybe the things they sell they need to check-0

have they said what type of check it is
BDS,CRB or is it just a credit checkI

No- they just said security check, it is not a crb check because they said it will only take a day or two. I have read other security checks and it can be a credit check. I just wandered if they check the whole report or just with the public records if there are any CCJ or bankruptcies.0

Be up front. Tell them that they will find defaults which will come off in Feb. This may cost you the job, but then, they would find out anyway. They are more likely to give you the benefit of the doubt if you tell them than if they find out for themselves.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. They will check the whole record.
The usual reason for doing so is to check a prospective employee isn't completely financial irresponsible or so in debt they might be tempted through lack of money to do something they shouldn't, like giving unauthorised discounts to friends.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Oh no- well I think I won't get the job now- nothing ever seems to go right and your past seems to catch up with u unfortunately. :-(0

Your finances shouldn't come in to it unless a certain level of security clearance is required, or if it's a role whereby you'll be vulnerable to corruption etc. You'll be asked about anything they wish to check, so if you're not asked about your finaces etc, you don't have to disclose anything of the sort!0
