recipe for homemade chocolate mints?

Last year I remember reading a thread about homemade sweets and chocolate including one about mashing up trebor mints into chocolate.I have searched several of the forums but cant seem to find it again.Can anyone help please?

    Dont know about the trebor mints but I use lots of icing sugar and an egg white and peppermint essence, roll into balls on greasproof paper, press with a fork to flatten them. When set, dip some of them in melted chocloate half way over.
    But I would also be interested in the Trebor mints one if someone remembers.

    I seem to remember a recipe on here that used extra strong mints (i could be wrong). I would like the recipe too :)

    ssh, dont tell the MSE techies, but the best way I've always found, is to go to google, and type in what you want to search for followed by the word moneysavingexpert, better than the forum search tools IMHO

    If i had remembered that it was so easy I wouldnt have needed to search!!!!.It is currently setting in my fridge so will be ready for the morning (or maybe a midnight snack)

    I made that recipe last year and they were gorgeous! Wish I had time this year but even though they are so simple I'll still be struggling this year!!
