Can I use malt vinegar as rinse aid in the dishwasher? I have run out of rinse aid and it has the light on telling me to fill up but in this weather i don't want to brave the elements for rinse aid

Although your dishwasher manufacturer may tell you different... just never admit to using it in public

Just don't fill the tablet dispenser with fairy liquid if you run out of tablets. My Dad did that once and filled the kitchen with bubbles!

It won't do anything to my dishwasher will it?Just don't fill the tablet dispenser with fairy liquid if you run out of tablets. My Dad did that once and filled the kitchen with bubbles!

I've used vinegar as rinse aid - no it won't do anything to the machine except keep it a bit clearer of limescale!!!0

I think it may have a smidge left in it so I will continue to run it until I think there is none left, don't want to mix the vinegar in with it:eek:0
