I was wondering if anybody actuially bid on www.biddi.com

    I've never liked the look of the way the site works, it's a great money making concept for the company. You pay 50p I think per bid so for every £1 an item goes to they've made £50. If they 'sell' an iPad for say £20 that means the 'auction' made £1020 on an item worth half the price. Great for them, but a bit of a gamble that you're lucky enough to win!
    You can bulk buy bids making it slightly cheaper than 50p each time but...
  • The site design is clever. £'s counting down by the second to draw the punters in. The same concept as one of those "buy it while it's still here" digital TV shopping channels. I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

    It's like watching some poor sod putting his last few £ coins in a pub fruit machine trying to win their money back.
