Back from OR

Husband just got back after 2hr interview .He said it felt more like an interrogation and although he took everything they asked for he wont hear the outcome for 3 months is this normal.I think because it was a VAT debt they were quite fierce. Is it normal to wait this long. Thanks for all your help and good wishes .

Tax and VAT debt interviews do tend to take longer as a fuller report has to be prepared for HMRC (especially in the case of VAT).

They do this as HMRC can come back with odd questions, so having already asked the question means less to come back on.

So nown't to worry about normally

it is normally 8 weeks before they ask for a ipq to be filled in to see if you are going to have to pay an IPA. The hardest part is over now so try and enjoy Christmas
If you woke up this morning congratulations, you have another chance :j
