Hi All and a Merry Christmas,

Tomorrow will be exactly 1 year to the day that we went BR, we have not heard from the OR since the summer when we had to complete an IPOQ form because we had the chance to buy the BI in our house.

We have paid the OR what he wanted for the BI plus the £211.00 costs which we paid yesterday. We have phoned the OR's office a couple of times since we submitted the IPOQ to let him now of changes in circumstances (wages and a refund for electricity) but we haven't received anything about an IPA.

I have read that once we are AD the OR can't give us an IPA or anything else, is this still true? Is there anything the OR could do to us after we are AD or will that be the end of the matter?

We are so close to the end of our BR but we are still worried something could happen afterwards that we haven't been told about, whether it's 2 days or 2 years down the line.

Could someone in the know please clarify that once we are discharged then that is the end of it, or not?

Hi nilpennies, That's right once you have AD and no IPA is set up they can't start one and with one day left I think it's fair to say your safe. After AD it is the end of it! Congratulations for tomorrow, onwards and upwards now

    Best wishes

Oh and if you want to see your discharged status at 12 midnight you can on the IS site, also print off several copies from the insolvency service site (your name will disappear from there in three months) this will help with your credit file clean up in two/three months time.
