Sainsburys " till spit" vouchers..

Has anyone used the money off " till spit " vouchers at Tescos ? or are the only ones accepted being those you receive in the post from time to time ?

I got a £ 6 off a £ 60 quid spend at the weekend but obviously not sure if I need to do a £ 60 quid shop. If these ouchers are accepted at Tesco would I have to spend the £ 60 in Tesco ?

Any help appreciated.

Sorry that I've not explained myself very clearly.

I received the £ 6 " till spit " off a £ 60 spend at Sainsburys and was wanting to know if these are accepted at Tescos.

Hi kiwikaz,

It depends on the policy of the local Tesco, as to whether accept other stores conditional spends or not.
Its better to make sure at CS desk before you shop.;)

With no problem in large Tesco in Peterborough but with comment - 'Funny looking coupon - did you print it yourself?'
I also used their own(Tesco) money off voucher for same spend so double discount as they both scanned without problems.

It's useful to know.I do tend to shop around so I'll give it a go .
As Idlesaver mentioned it might be best if I did check at customer services beforehand to avoid embarrassment. I have tried to get thro to customer services too but kept getting cut off !

I also used a Sainsbury till spit voucher at the same time as a Tesco minimum spend one, this was in The Meadows Sandhurst.

Yeah I regularly go to Sainsburys for a few bits & get these till spits, & then use 'em in Tesco. My store has a big banner outside saying that they accept all other supermarkets vouchers.

I tried it for the first time this week at Tesco and the cashier took it no problem- £2 off a £20 shop -Sainsbury till spit- i'd read about it on here so thought it worth a go! HTH kiwikaz
