Why is my Christmas so boring?
Why Christmas gift so expensive?:(

  • It doesnt have to be :-)
Look through the threads for free/cheap/quirky xmas homemade gifts.....theres lots on here.

As for boring....people enjoy different things. I love to go for walks, spend time with the family etc. Sometimes it is what you make it. I'm obviously not any idea of your circumstances. Make the most of what you have :-)

Christmas gifts don't have to be expensive - one of the best gifts I received this year was a £1 voodoo doll which a mate bought for me on a random whim - we were waiting for mates to turn up on a night out & it was a running joke in our works department that I practice voodoo (being from Africa). He saw a dispenser with these in and bought one for me!! It's my favourite gift because he thought about it and it was a laugh!!

Christmas doesn't have to be grey either... I'm alone this Christmas & with a strapped up foot - yes I've missed out on a few things but I've managed to watch the panto on telly; I got to go to the Christmas party; and on Christmas day even though I'm alone I'm going to make it special by having a roast which I hardly ever do & I'm going to watch loads of films & telly and count my blessings that I'm far better off than a lot of people!
