Borrowing after bankruptcy

I have been discharged from bankruptcy for 4 years and urgently need some money and wanted to apply for a loan of £3000. Does anyone know of any company that will actually lend to me. I have tried using them agents advertised that charge a fee with no success, so am looking for a company that will take the risk with my past credit history. There is no credit union in my area so I cannot apply to one, and I will be unable to provide a guarantor. Please help.

As its urgent not sure how helpful this will be but generally a credit union is a good idea. If you save regularly they'll lend multiples of what you have saved. Not sure where they stand on bankrupts, but as their reason for existing is to help people who are financially excluded I would've thought so.
I am sure there will be companies who will lend, but expect high rates.Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0 -
expect VERY high rates. its 6 yrs until we can really start again re building for credit so to speak.0

Hi,I fully understand how frustrating it can be trying to get a loanThe very few lenders who might consider you will take full advantage by charging stupid interest rates as they know you have no choice and are desperate.
Good luck Mark.0 -
£3k's a lot for anybody to need. What's it for, in case people can suggest alternatives/cheaper resolutions.0
