Does anyone know how helpful next are with returns?

I purchased my daughter a school coat from next, for the reasons that it was specifically a school coat and matched all the requirements i wanted for my daughters first school coat. I also liked the idea of washing it, so when the christmas term ended i followed the instructions about washing/drying, only when i was checking it to make sure it was dry all over, ive noticed the lining as fallen in places, its gone all funny (kinda bobbly) and its patchy so theres patches with no lining in. I really want to return it and replace it, as the coat is perfect, and got good reviews, so am hoping it was just a one off. The only thing is, ive never had to return anything back to next as normally there stuff is fantastic. Does anyone know how they are with what id call faulty garment? Many Thanks

should be a simple matter of taking it back to the shop (with a reciept is ideal but as faulty not needed) they are generally very helpful at our local store and do not quibblenow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0

I tried to return something from Next that had lost all it's stitching after washing, they tried to blame my washing machine - either overloaded, wrong spin cycle etc. They are often very good about returns but after something had been washed they were very difficul.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0
