how long do payments take to show online? I have just remortgaged to nationwide. (Was used to overpaying with halifax previously). Today i have transferred £10 via online banking from lloyds and paid £20 over the counter into my nationwide mortgage. Online all i can see is the current balance owing £171000:eek:
When/how will it show my overpayments? Can i see this online or only on the yearly statement??
Thanks in advance-i am a nationwide virgin :rotfl:

Hi,
As I work near a Nationwide branch, I normally withdraw cash from my current acc. and overpay mortgage as a cash deposit. Curr acc shows debit immediately, mortgage sometimes shows up the same day, normally the next day. Nationwide advise:
HOW CAN I MAKE AN ADDITIONAL OVERPAYMENT ON MY MORTGAGE/FLEXIBLE ADVANCE?
The easiest way for you to make an overpayment is through 'Payments and Transfers' option using our online bank. Otherwise you can pay by cash or cheque at any of our branches.
You can see the following information about your Mortgage Account:
* The date of the transaction
* The amount of the transaction
* A brief description of the transaction (as it will appear on your annual postal statement).
If you make more than one payment in a month, these amounts will be 'bundled' together as that month's payment.
Hope that helps,

I make my overpayments to Nationwide by transfer from First Direct and they normally take 3 working days to show on Nationwide. I don't think I can see the individual payments but I can see the total payments made that month.MFIT No. 810

I find it annoying that they take the money on 1st and it doesn't show on our mortgage till the day after.
I have my current account and mortgage account with Nationwide. The same applies for overpayments. I do a straight online transfer on 1st of every month, this month the payments didn't show till today (what do they do with the money for two days?!)Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
