Hi there
Just a small point. Has your sons milk intolerence been officially diagnosed? I ask because my DS1 is allergic to milk, so we get tins of wysoy on prescription for free. May be worth asking your GP about this.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

it's official, yes, he has been on Neocate, prescribed since he was 1 month - trying to wean him off it and soya is the only thing he can have - this has been in conjunction with his GP and also a dietician at our local hospital.0

If you are only estimating food cost at the moment keep a spending diary for food and other items - you might be amazed at what you are really spending - I was when I did a true budget of ours.I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

Clothing and footwear - £52 ( you dont need all of this at the mo do you) - for my son as well, who's growing all the time!!
Look on ebay at the 2nd hand clothing bundles. You can get decent makes such as next and gap in good to excellent condition and it can work out around £2 per item. You will get the odd piece that isn't that good or he never wears but it will work out cheaper and as he grows put the ones in good condition back on ebay to sell. Only buy his shoes new.
For you and your wife - only buy as things wear out and need replacing. Again look on ebay for bargains.0 -
What has the money been spent on if you don't mind me asking?
It seems like your wife is mad at you for the debts, but surely a lot of its hers?
You seem to be paying for everything.

I agree with chevallier re the milk thing, my children both had Wysoy on perscription until they no longer drank "milk". Also soya milk isn't much dearer than normal milk at the supermarket, have you looked at Aldi, Lidl etc for cutting the food bill?0

Welcome. If your son is lactose intolerant you should be able to get your soya milk free on perscription. This was the case 5 years ago when my daughter had to have soya milk for a medical condidtion. x0
