                    Hi,
I filed for bankruptcy in August and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on following:
Early discharge
I have just been sent an ED letter and IPO forms to complete and I was wondering if anyone can give me any information as to how long the process takes and what happens after you re-submit your earnings. Also has anyone started this process since the new rules came in? I am just wondering if I can expect the OR to now question costs they accepted in August 2010 under the new rules.
Student Loans
I have a 'old style' direct debit Student Loan (not taken direct from my salary) that I have only just become liable to pay whilst I have been bankrupt. As per the bankruptcy rules I was not able to include the student loan in my bankruptcy. Does anyone know whether the OR will agree to include these repayments as part of my essential outgoings on my IPO form?
Thanks in advance for any help

It's impossible to say, but please don't pin your hopes on getting ED. It's done when the OR's office has spare time - they've just got rid of all agency staff, so it might not happen
